Enchanting 3-Day Merzouga Desert Adventure in Morocco

This exquisite desert tour from Marrakech invites you to immerse yourself in the authentic beauty of the Moroccan Sahara. Day One: Marrakech – Tizi N’tichka – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades.

We will pick you up from your hotel in Marrakech at 7:30 AM and depart for Ait Benhaddou, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260m). After visiting the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we’ll drive to Ouarzazate for a photo stop near the Atlas Film Studios, then continue to the city center for a panoramic view of the Kasbah of Taourirt. Finally, we’ll head to Boumalne du Dades for dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel.

Day Two: Boumalne Dadès - Tinghir - Todra Gorge - Arfoud - Merzouga Dunes.

The next day, we drive through Dades Valley and Todra Gorges, taking in the sights. We can stop for lunch at any restaurant along the way. Our final destination is Merzouga, where we meet our camels for a trek to the Dunes of Erg Chebbi, spending the night at a Berber desert camp.

Day Three: Erg Chebbi (Merzouga) to Marrakech.

After witnessing a stunning sunrise in the sand dunes and having breakfast, you ride camels back to where our driver awaits. We drive back to Marrakech, making a few stops along the way for lunch. Then, we continue to Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas mountains via Tizi N’tichka. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your accommodation in Marrakech.
