Toubkal MTB Adventure: 2-Day Trek & 1-Day Ride.

Your journey begins in the charming town of Imlil, the gateway to the stunning Atlas Mountains. Prepare to hike and explore this breathtaking landscape, where every step reveals the beauty of nature. This tour is perfect for those seeking an exhilarating mountain biking experience amidst the serene beauty of Morocco's highlands.

Experience an incredible 3-day tour: a 2-day Toubkal trek followed by a 1-day MTB trip. Starting in Imlil, you'll hike and explore the Atlas Mountains, perfect for those seeking a mountain biking adventure.

After breakfast, we drive for 1.5 hours to Imlil village to begin our trek. We follow the Ait Mizane Valley, passing Aremd village and reaching the shrine of Sidi Chamarouch. Continuing east, we cross flood plains along mule tracks and ascend the rocky cliffs, eventually arriving at the pastoral shrine of Sidi Chamarouch, popular with tourists and pilgrims. The trail then climbs steadily, winding up to the snowline (in winter) and the Toubkal Refuge (3207m), our overnight stop, which takes about 4 to 5 hours of walking. The elevation gain is 1507m from Imlil to the Toubkal hut.

TOUBKAL REFUGE 3207M – TOUBKAL SUMMIT 4167M – TOUBKAL HUT 3207M – AROUM D VILLAGE 1940M

Rise early for the Toubkal climb (4,167m) to enjoy breathtaking views of the Atlas Range and Sahara Desert, weather permitting. The return trek involves a long descent past the refuge and along a well-worn path back to the village. Expect a full day of 8-9 hours of trekking, with 900m ascent and nearly 2,500m descent, before overnighting in a lodge. Total walking time is 9 to 10 hours.

AROUMD VILLAGE – TIZI N’TAMATERT – IMNANE VALLEY – ASNI – MARRAKECH

After breakfast, you'll begin your MTB adventure from our lodge, riding towards the Tizi N'tamatert pass at 2280m. The initial warm-up is on a smooth road with views of the Imnane valley, featuring contrasting terraced cultures against an arid backdrop. As you follow the track to the right, you'll encounter stunning Berber villages nestled on the mountainsides, framed by the majestic, often snow-capped peaks of the High Atlas. Following an exhilarating descent, your mountain biking concludes in Asni, where you'll have lunch before transferring back to Marrakech.
