Enchanting 2-Day Morocco Sahara Desert Adventure

Embark on an enchanting two-day desert expedition to the breathtaking Zagora dunes, where the mesmerizing beauty of the Moroccan Sahara unfolds before your eyes. Day One: Marrakech to Ouarzazate, then through Draa Valley to Zagora Dunes.

You will be picked up from your hotel in Marrakech at 7:30 AM. Drive through the High Atlas mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass to Ait Benhaddou village, known for its stunning Kasbahs. After a short walk around the fortified kasbah, continue to Ouarzazate for lunch at a restaurant. Post-lunch, drive south, crossing Tizi N'Tnifift pass at 1710m and passing Ait Saoun village, a historic caravan route for Sahara traders from Tombouktou. Arrive at Agdez Village, the first administrative center marking the Draa Valley's palm groves and the famous Tamnougalt Kasbah. Proceed through lunar landscapes and Pre-Sahara routes to Zagora, a small town. Enjoy a camel ride to the camp, followed by dinner and an overnight stay in nomadic tents.

Day Two: Zagora Dunes - Agdez - High Atlas & Tichka - Marrakech.

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, then enjoy breakfast in the bivouac. Ride the camels back to meet your driver for the drive to Marrakech, passing through Ouarzazate with free time for lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, continue through the Atlas Mountains to reach Marrakech. Drop off at your hotel.
